About the role

In this role, you will be driving Company-wide financial budgeting, reporting, and analysis efforts across businesses and functions. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders and convert insights into initiatives.

Following are the responsibilities:

– Financial planning and analysis

– Manage annual business budgeting process along with monthly variance analysis reporting, clearly outlining key assumptions

– Develop a detailed understanding of key drivers for each line of business, analyze key financial KPIs, evaluate ROIs and provide decision making support

– Monitor P&L for major campaigns and merchants

Investor relations :

– Prepare monthly MIS report for the investors

– Prepare presentations for Board of Directors

– Be the point of contact for all investor queries, projects and initiatives

Corporate finance :

– Monitor cash flows across entities, manage liquidity and take necessary measures to ensure effective utilization of working capital

– Prepare financial models and information memorandums to raise funds, both equity and debt

– Manage the transaction process end-to-end including but not limited to due diligence, structuring, legal documentation, approvals – through liaising with internal teams, investors and external advisors

– Strategic projects

– Lead cost optimization initiatives for the Company

– Partner with accounting to improve the effectiveness of financial reporting and processes

– Provide financial insights related to new initiatives, products and business opportunities

Who fits the role?

Qualified CA / MBA with 6-8 years of experience in Business Finance / Strategy Consulting / Investment Banking

– Startup acumen – strong work ethics, flexible, willingness to get hands dirty and have a ‘get stuff done’ attitude, ability to deal with multiple projects with conflicting priorities

– Must have strong analytical & negotiation skills

– Great communication and stakeholder management skill with ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel
